...

In the present COVID-19 pandemic situation where COVID tests have been mandated as necessary by the WHO and different governments for the diagnosis and prevention of coronavirus disease, Global Manager Group - a leading ISO consultancy and training company - is offering to COVID-19 test laboratories across the world a total documentation package based on ISO 15189 and ISO 22870: 2016 international standards. Several medical laboratories in the UK and European countries have already purchased this documentation kit and availed the benefits of being certified to ISO 15189 and ISO 22870: 2016 standards.

"Globally many COVID testing laboratories are approaching us for this integrated total documentation package on ISO 15189 and ISO 22870: 2016 quality, competence and POCT requirements. This total documentation package is our team effort for the COVID testing laboratories so they can provide high quality testing services to the society in the time of this global crisis", says Mr Devang Jhaveri, Director, Global Manager Group. "Anyone who wants the free list of documents of this documentation package or more information can Contact Us or visit our website", he adds.

ISO 15189 is an international standard that specifies the quality management system requirements particular to medical laboratories; whereas ISO 22870:2016 gives specific requirements applicable to point-of-care testing (POCT) and it is used by medical laboratories in conjunction with ISO 15189 standard. The requirements of ISO 22870 apply when POCT is carried out in a hospital, clinic and by a healthcare organization providing ambulatory care.

Hence to meet the quality and competence requirements as well as POCT and other requirements including regulatory body and statutory requirements, an integrated total documentation package based on ISO 15189 and ISO 22870:2016 will help all the medical laboratories who are engaged in COVID-19 tests or those who are looking forward to include COVID-19 tests in their testing service portfolio.
